Former NXT UK wrestler Amale accuses Tristan Archer of abuse in todays Wrestling news

Former NXT UK wrestler Amale has accused her former partner Tristan Archer of abuse.

Amale, who worked for WWE from 2020 to 2022, posted on social media Monday that she was a victim of Archer’s “extremely abusive behavior and brazen conduct”. She also confirmed legal proceedings had been initiated.

After a few difficult times, things settled down. He appeared to regret his actions and I thought people can change. He never stopped contacting. When I didn’t respond to his message, he would ask me: “Where were you? With whom were you with, why didn’t you respond earlier if you weren’t alone, I know that you have someone,” etc. Then he would be polite again.

I signed up with WWE and moved on. He was always kind to my throughout this period, but he kept sending me messages asking for updates, even though I rarely responded. I didn’t see him again until one day, when I saw him on a plane to NXTUK. I immediately acted professionally with him. I helped him settle down, then distanced myself and everything went smoothly. He asked me not to mention him in the SPEAKING out movement. I was at peace, and I didn’t wish to harm him. I chose to remain silent despite his past actions before, during or after the protest. His behavior towards me, however, has recently escalated. This has led to harassment, threats and intimidation. He also made racist and misogynistic comments, as well as defaming my colleagues and wrestlers.

The first days after my departure from WWE were difficult, but I felt supported and encouraged by the French circuit. At several shows, Tristan and other performers were present. The atmosphere was positive. He continued to watch me. He began to become more intrusive. I decided to keep away from him. I began to hear his defamations and his obsession. He was trying to exclude me from shows, and turn people against him. One day, everything erupted as I was leaving a show. I heard him say life was hard for him, as a white male, and that he had never enjoyed any privileges. He said that racialized females had it easier. I was forced to speak up, as I had experienced discrimination due to my origins. According to him and his friends, I only signed because I am an Arab woman because “it sells better” in the media. Then, I was attacked for my appearance, my ability in the ring, and my family. It was too much for me mentally, so I decided that I would drive myself or have someone else take me to the shows to avoid having to endure this behavior again.

He created a false account (paulLepaul- pikapika080888/ Dblegends2105) that has been used daily since late 2019, to hide the fact he told his former girlfriend that he would no longer contact me, and he also blocked me from his primary account. This account was used by him to stalk me and my loved ones. (Several people found him on their stories). He also used it to harass, send unsolicited messages and manipulate himself to look like a good guy.

He then found out that I was dating someone. He stalked me and made insulting comments about me to my partner, hoping to cause a breakup. He made violent, defamatory and misogynistic comments. He acted in the same manner with anyone who was interested in me, even before this person. His obsession only grew and he even displayed this behavior in the wrestling locker rooms.

He was toxic again. He spoke badly of me to promoters. I lost bookings. He harassed and intimidated me as I walked to shows. I always made sure I was surrounded by trusted people if I had an event where he would be present.

This behavior continued at events for different promotions (wXw , Wrestling Kult ) and during private interactions. It caused me immense psychological pressure. He threatened to throw me out of the locker room for wXw, claiming that he was in control. The scene was witnessed by several people. I took steps to ensure my safety and distance myself from Tristan, even if that meant making sacrifices. For example, I stepped away from the ring and arranged my own travel to various shows without asking for reimbursement. His actions were reported to the promotions in which these incidents took place, as well WWE. In light of the seriousness of the allegations and the testimony, WWE decided to ban him from participating in WWE Backlash France as well as future WWE events. Other well-informed promotions have taken or will take the necessary steps to remove him in order to maintain a healthy working environment.

His constant threats have had a devastating effect on my mental and psychological health. I sought professional help, and organized my professional and private life to avoid him. I’ve lost weight, just as I did when I was under control (45 kg), but I also experience severe episodes of stress, anxiety, and eating disorders every day. This affects all aspects of my daily life: my mental health, my physical health and my relationships. I feel like a slowly dying person when all I wanted to do was be left alone. (Photos included.)

He even defamed me by saying that I lost weight because I was taking cocaine when he was the only one to blame for my condition. My life depends on this. The defamation went as far as saying that I was violent with my colleagues/friends in the locker room. They can refute the claims.

Your support and understanding are invaluable to me. I hope we can work together towards a solution that ensures everyone’s safety and well-being within the French wrestling scene. This man is toxic. All promotions must be involved and have a stance to ensure the best possible environment.

I have already begun discussions with the media, workers, WWE Wrestling Kult and wXw. I hope that I can count on the support of fans and all promoters in France. I have tried to bring this up internally in French wrestling and it has always failed. Despite the fear of retaliation, I am speaking out today to try to make changes. In France, and more than anywhere else, I think it is more important now than ever to expose and reveal these matters to the public. They deserve to see the real face of their wrestlers, and protect women and the future generations. I know that he will continue to try and discredit me as he has done in the past. This time, however, things will be very different.

I was pressed to resolve this internally. I had the support from all foreign promotions. But in France, the charade is still going on. Tristan Archer is the reason why no one wants to take action. People find excuses. If it was someone else, there wouldn’t have been any leniency. I trusted people who were in the industry and they did not hesitate to put my life in danger. They also reported my testimony to Tristan who has been trying to discredit me ever since. Tristan is friendly, helpful and kind to people. But that’s only one side of him, which he shows after every bad act in order to be forgiven. He is so talented that people will forgive him anything, but not for this.

I want to emphasize that I’ve moved on. I have moved forward in my life, and I have put past mistakes behind me. He has not done so. I have given him more chances than I could count. All I wanted to do was be left alone. I never spoke badly of him to his family, friends or in the locker room. I let him live his own life, which he never did. I was forced to defend me–I had to choose ME. It’s difficult, but I must do it.

Thank you to all of the workers who helped me defend myself, reminded of who I was, and gave the strength to speak up. I have provided all the evidence and testimony; the rest is up to the competent authorities. Please respect my request to be left alone. I am pursuing legal actions and will not back down.

I have started legal proceedings and will not back down under any pressure. I am creating this thread to protect myself, to finally be free in my life and to help the next generation break away from his grip.

Sincerely,
Amale Dib”

The 31-year old Frenchwoman was one of many NXT UK wrestlers cut by WWE in the summer of 2022. Since then, she has continued to work for promotions in Europe, including Germany’s WXW promotion.

Archer (38) continues his wrestling career in France for promotions like CACC and BZW. He challenged EC3 to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at a BZW event in Lille, France in July. Archer also competed in WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic, losing to Cedric Alexsander in the first round.
