Former NWA Women’s champion Kamille reportedly signs AEW contract in todays Wrestling news
The female star claimed that she had been signed by someone since February.
According to a report on Monday from Fightful, the long wait for where former NWA Women’s Champ Kamille would land is over. She is headed to AEW.
Her NWA contract expired on December 31, 2023. She is now a free agent for 2024.
The 31-year old recently responded to a question on Twitter that she was signed somewhere since February. She later joked she thought the person asking about autograph signings. Her last match took place in November 2023, for an independent promotion in North Carolina.
She did not provide any other information regarding the length of the deal, when it would start on TV or other promotions.
She has been a pro since 2017. Her multi-year reign as NWA Women’s Champion is what she is most known for. She held the title for over 800 days between 2021 and 2023.
In January, there was some talk about her signing with WWE before moving to NXT.
She appeared on AEW TV in July 2021, to face Leyla Hirsch before their title match at NWA Empower that year.
