Webster believes that the “door” is open for them to join the company.
Flash Morgan Webster believes that the door is now open for him and Mark Andrews to rejoin TNA Wrestling.
Andrews & Webster were the Impact tag team champions for six weeks between Slammiversary and Emergence. Andrews and Webster, however, haven’t wrestled in the company since October.
Morgan told the Wrestling with Johners Podcast that they had been in recent talks with TNA on a deal, but nothing was set in stone.
Andrews said:
The last time we wrestled for TNA was the UK Tour, which was absolutely fantastic. We had a great time then. Recent talks may have taken place. There may have been recent talks – i can’t confirm this or deny it – but there is nothing set in stone. I think the door’s open.
Luna continued to promote the company without Andrews or Webster after the UK tour. She formed “Spitfire”, with Jody Threat, and won the Knockouts tag team titles from MK Ultra.
Webster went on to say that Luna, 24, was in a completely different situation than he or Andrews.
Webster continued:
We were unable to reach an agreement that was acceptable to both myself and Mark when Dani signed.
Dani is a much younger person than us. I know that Mark and I spent a long time in WWE, Mark for longer than me. We were signed and there were many restrictions that came along with it. We both thought to ourselves that we would make sure to sign for the right reasons if we signed anywhere else.
Webster continued his praise for the TNA locker rooms and said that he is confident we will see Andrews and him back in the promotion.
Webster said
Impact is a great place. TNA Sorry is a great place. The locker room has some of the best morale in the world. But sometimes you have to look beyond the wrestling and consider your life. You need to make sure the opportunities you take are right for you and your family.
I believe you will see us back in the TNA ring, but I cannot tell you when. I’m confident that the fans will be thrilled when we return.
