The Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship at TNA Emergence has been set.
Zachary Wentz, the winner of the other qualifying match from Thursday’s Impact, is heading to the Ultimate X Match.
Bailey defeated Trent Seven and Jake Something on Thursday, in a match where if Bailey had lost he would not have retained the X-Division Title and the Ultimate X Match at Emergence would be for the vacant title. Bailey will now defend the title in the Ultimate X match.
Wentz won his qualifier against KC Navarro, WWE NXT’s Dante Chen and others on Thursday’s Impact to secure his ticket to Emergence.
Next week, TNA Impact will continue to air qualifying matches for the Emergence Ultra X match for X-Division Championship.
TNA Plus will stream Emergence on Friday, August 30, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The Ultimate X bout is the only match that has been officially announced so far.
