Two title matches will be held at the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay per view on Friday, July 26, 2018.
Athena, the Women’s World Champion, will defend her title at Death Before Dishonor against Queen Aminata. The bout was announced on Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV. Athena’s absence from the ring has been attributed in storyline to an injury. Storyline has exaggerated the injury scare that Athena suffered in her last match, which took place in May.
Billie Starkz, Athena’s “minion”, will also defend her title in Death Before Dishonor.
Ring of Honor TV’s Thursday episode confirmed that Starkz will defend the ROH Women’s TV Championship at the July 26 pay per view against Red Velvet.
In the Thursday episode, Lee Moriarty and Wheeler Yuta fought to a draw in a ROH Pure Championship Proving Ground Match. Moriarty now has a shot at Yuta’s Championship. The match has yet to be officially announced for the PPV.
