NJPW announced the first four bouts of their Capital Collision event on Friday, August 30, in Washington, DC.
In DC, the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship is on the line. Gabe Kidd will defend his title against Lio Rush.
Titan, a CMLL member, will be facing Zack Sabre Jr. in a first-ever singles match. Titan is a NJPW regular who is a member of the Los Ingobernables De Japon faction.
Former rivals and former teammates Tom Lawlor & Fred Rosser will face West Coast Wrecking Crew Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs. Nelson & Isaacs used to be part of Lawlor’s Team Filthy, while Lawlor & Rosser had a feud in the past over the NJPW Strong championship before uniting under the Dirty Work banner.
The show will also feature a contest between Trish Adora and HANAKO for the women’s division.
Capital Collision airs as an NJPW World pay-per-view on Saturday, August 30 from the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC. The lineup to this point:
