The first 30 minutes of WWE SmackDown tonight will be broadcast without commercial interruption.
Tonight, SmackDown is back on USA Network for the very first time since 2019. The episode begins with a steel cage match featuring Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes defending against Solo Sikoa. WWE has announced the first 30 minutes will be commercial-free.
Rhodes vs. Sikoa will be a rematch of SummerSlam where Rhodes won after Roman Reigns returned and confronted Sikoa during the match.
SmackDown ended its run on Fox this past week and has now returned to USA Network, as part of a 5-year deal between WWE & NBCUniversal. The deal includes four in-ring specials each year, which will be broadcast live on NBC during prime time.
The show tonight will be broadcast from Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle.
