Finn Balor revealed his WWE contract length during a recent appearance on a podcast.
The 42-year old announced in April that had signed a new contract with the company. He wrote: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank WWE for 10 incredible year.” After much thought and consideration I have decided that this is the time to say “I ain’t going anywhere!”
Balor recently told the What’s The Story Podcast that the extension he has signed is for five-years.
“We sat and had a few conversations and the feelings we both felt were mutual. I wanted to remain, they wanted to remain, we worked it out, and I couldn’t have been happier,” Balor said.
Balor had been talking about wanting to play Gunther in a match when he announced the news.
“I told the office I would love to attend that match (vs. Gunther in the future) so fingers crossed.” I have five years left on my contract, so let’s see if we can make it happen in the next five.
Balor signed his first contract with WWE in 2014. Balor was the first Universal Champion. He has also held the NXT Championship and Intercontinental titles twice. He has also won tag team titles with Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, and the promotion.
