Field set for TNA Slammiversary World Title Match in todays Wrestling news

The six-way World Title match will take place at TNA Slammiversary, on July 20, 2018.

Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian and Moose won their Road to Slammiversary qualifiers on Thursday’s TNA Impact to qualify for the World title match in Slammiversary. Moose will defend his World title against five competitors.

Hendry defeated Jake Something to qualify for Slammiversary. Kazarian beat Mike Santana and advanced to the World title match.

Moose now faces Hendry and Kazarian in the Slammiversary’s main event. Josh Alexander, Nic Nemeth, Steve Maclin, and Josh Alexander will also be competing.

On Saturday, July 20, a new match will be added to the Slammiversary schedule.

AJ Francis, the current Digital Media Champion, will defend his title at the pay-per view against PCO. However, there is a caveat. Francis’ title defense is set for the Impact episode of July 11, and he must defeat Rhino in next week’s show to put the Digital Media title on the line.

Three matches are official for Slammiversary which airs Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m. Eastern time on pay-per-view. The current card:

  • TNA World Champion Moose defends against Nic Nemeth, Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian & Joe Hendry
  • TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace defends against Ash by Elegance
  • AJ Francis vs. PCO
