Eight-man tag teams with CMLL stars to be announced for AEW Rampage in todays Wrestling news
AEW Tag-Team Champions Big Bill & Rick Starks are also in action.
Four of CMLL’s top stars, who made their presence felt in Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite match, will compete as an eight-man team in this Friday’s AEW Rampage.
Mistico Jr, Mascara Dorada & Hechicero take on Matt Menard. Angelo Parker, Matt Sydal & Christopher Daniels.
Initially seated ringside, CMLL wrestlers attacked Jon Moxley following his win over Jeff Hardy in the opening of Dynamite. They beat down the former AEW World Champion with a four-on-1 attack before their future Friday opponents ran down to assist.
Hechicero will face Moxley’s Blackpool Combat Club teammates Bryan Danielson at Saturday’s Collision, while a three-way match between BCC and CMLL wrestling stars is scheduled for next Wednesday.
The show on Friday will also feature AEW Tag Team champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill, who will be competing in non-title matches against Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds & John Silver. Starks & Bill are set to defend against Sting & Daring Allin in next Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Willow Nightingale, who has competed on AEW TV and ROH TV in recent times, will face Queen Aminata. Aminata has a record of 0-15 in AEW, while Nightingale has a 3-1 record in her last four matches.
Orange Cassidy, AEW’s International Champion, and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta), will also be present to share their thoughts.
