Eddie Kingston surgery date set in todays Wrestling news
According to a recent report, Eddie Kingston has set a date for his surgery to repair a torn ACL.
PWInsider reported that Kingston will undergo surgery Monday, July 8, to repair the ACL and Meniscus tears he sustained during a match earlier this month at NJPW Resurgence.
Kingston, in addition to meniscus and ACL tears suffered during the match against Resurgence, also broke a leg. The report notes that Kingston was advised that the leg fracture must heal before ACL and meniscus surgeries can be performed.
Kingston’s May 2025 return date was also reflected in the report.
Kingston sustained the leg injuries in a table spot during a no-ropes last man standing match with Gabe Kidd. Kidd had suplexed Kingston on to a table bridge that was set up at the ringside barrier. Kingston’s leg hit the barricade, causing the injuries.
