AEW is headed to Wales
The company announced Wednesday that it will be holding a double taping on August 21 of Dynamite and Collision at Utilita Arena Cardiff, as part of All In Weekend.
The shows will be held for the first time in the United Kingdom. Tickets will be available next Friday, 10 am BST, via LiveNation UK, Ticketmaster UK, and AEWTix.com.
In a press release, Tony Khan, AEW’s head, said: “We are thrilled for the historic United Kingdom premieres of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision in Wales on August 21 at Utilita Arena Cardiff.” The event will serve as a perfect kick-off to what will be a week of excitement for AEW Fans in the United Kingdom. It will culminate with All In London on August 25, at Wembley Stadium.
AEW began preparing for All In Weekend by kicking off Owen Hart Foundation Tournament matches on Wednesday’s Dynamite. The men’s and woman’s tournament winners will earn a World Title match at All In.
All In was one of the most attended shows in pro-wrestling history. Over 72,000 people filled Wembley Stadium, bringing in a total of $10 million.
