Drew McIntyre says there was only a’sketch’ for WWE Raw Promo with Punk & Rolls-Royce in todays Wrestling news
According to McIntyre the segment was not heavily Scripted.
Drew McIntyre said that his segment with CMPunk and Seth Rollins on Monday’s Raw wasn’t heavily scripted.
McIntyre hurled insults at Punk and Rollins during a memorable segment on Raw. The segment lasted for nearly 20 minutes and included an announcement that Punk would be a guest commentator at the night two WrestleMania match between Rollins vs. McIntyre.
McIntyre said that the war of words between Punk and Rollins on Monday was “only an outline” during an appearance on QFM96’s Torg and Elliott show in Columbus, Ohio. McIntyre stated that they are three people who can verbally slam each other without having to write anything down.
McIntyre’s response when asked about how far in advance he plans to release Raw:
I’d love the opportunity to ask, “Is that a prank?” You probably don’t. I don’t know. If I’m lucky, there may be a match that is publicized in advance. Or perhaps one of our creative members will say, “This is a potential idea.”
In the old days, it was always changing right up to showtime. In the past, we would have a rough estimate, but now it could change the day of the show. I don’t pay attention to the show until it happens. I won’t ask about Monday Night Raw until Monday. Then, it could change a few times. Then, if I don’t like it, I may change a few things. It’s a collaborative effort right up until the showtime.
You could feel the tension in this week’s interview between myself, CM Punk and Seth Rollins. If it felt uncomfortable it was because the outline was there. It’s three men who may not have liked each other or might have had personal feelings but are also good at their jobs and go out and tear each other up verbally, without writing it down on paper.

Before Punk tore his triceps in the Royal Rumble, Rollins was going to challenge him at WrestleMania. McIntyre was the top contender for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship after Punk was forced to withdraw from action.
