Doctor files complaint denying wrongdoing regarding treatment of Janel grant in todays Wrestling news

Janel Grant has a new update regarding her petition for her medical records to be sent by Peak Wellness, and her lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, as well as John Laurinitis.

Grant filed a petition with a Connecticut court recently to obtain records of her treatment at Peak Wellness under Dr. Carlon Collker, which she claims were arranged by McMahon.

Colker and Peak Wellness attorneys have filed a formal complaint in response Grant’s petition. They claim that it is a part of a smear campaign related to her lawsuit against McMahon and WWE.

The complaint states that Grant is engaged in a smear against (Colker, Peak Wellness) to support her well-publicized accusations concerning alleged sex abuse and trafficking.

The complaint also requests that Grant “provides information regarding her activities in intentionally encouraging patent lies and material false statements” related to her treatments at the clinic, and that this information may be used as a basis for legal action against her.

“Plaintiffs are confident that this information will provide ample grounds for Plaintiffs to bring claims against Grant, including defamation and tortious interference with the business relationship, as well as negligent and intentional infliction on emotional distress upon Dr. Colker.”

The complaint continues to deny that Grant was treated unfairly.

“Grant’s claim, that Dr. Colker and/or any staff at Peak Wellness intentionally withheld information about her care from her is recklessly false. Grant’s claim that Dr. Colker, or any staff member at Peak Wellness, ever avoided or/or refused to clarify any of substances, dosages, and/or purpose of vitamins Grant was given, is recklessly harmfully false. Grant’s claim, that Dr. Colker reacted negatively to her because she asked about the specifics of the vitamins she received, is recklessly false. Grant’s claim that Dr. Colker, or any staff member at Peak Wellness, ever avoided or/or refused to describe any of substances, dosages, and/or purpose of the IV liquids Ms. Grant received, is recklessly harmfully false.

“The Plaintiffs are Carlon M. Peak Wellness, Inc. and Carlon M. Colker, M.D., bring this Verified complaint for a Bill of Discovery in order to compel Janel Grant to disclose information regarding her activities of intentionally fostering material misstatements and patent lies concerning her interactions with Plaintiffs and their treatment. Plaintiffs believe this information will provide ample basis for Plaintiffs to bring claims against Grant, including defamation and tortious interference with her business relationships, as well as negligent and intentional infliction on Dr. Colker of emotional distress.

“Upon information and believing, Grant is engaging a smear against Plaintiffs to bolster her publicized allegations regarding alleged sex-trafficking and sexual assaults by World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (n/k/a World Wrestling Entertainment, LLC), Vincent K. McMahon (McMahon”), and John Laurinaitis (Laurinaitis “).”

“Dr. Colker and Peak were not named as defendants by the Grant v. WWE Federal Action. Grant had made no allegations of wrongdoing in the Grant against WWE Federal Action, despite referring to her alleged treatment from a “Celebrity doctor” and an “Alternative clinic” in the WWE Federal Action Complaint.”
