Deonna Purrazzo claims she has done everything possible with TNA Wrestling.
The 29-year old made her debut with the promotion that was formerly known Impact Wrestling on May 2020, after being released from WWE a month earlier. She quickly became the focal point of the division after winning the Knockouts championship from Jordynne grace at Slammiverary in July.
Purrazzo appeared on Talk is Jericho and explained the reasons for her departure from the company.
Purrazzo said:
I knew that my contract with Impact was about to expire and I felt it was the right time to leave. If this was the territories then now would be the right time to leave, right?
Britt Baker connected me with Tony Khan. We just started talking and I knew that the first Dynamite show of the year would be in Jersey. That’s where I am from. I thought that it would be a wonderful scenario, a real dream come true, if we were able to do that.
