Deadlock Pro Wrestling is bringing one of AEW’s top tag teams to its indie promotion.
Deadlock Pro announced that FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), will compete in their Super Battle show on Sunday, October 13th, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The show, which will be broadcast from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, is being marketed as the biggest event of DPW’s 3-year history. The event will also feature Masato Tanaka and KENTA.
FTR’s Super Battle match has not yet been announced. Harwood and Wheeler are both from North Carolina, so it’s a home booking for them.
FTR is not known for making indie appearances, but they will be competing for Prestige Wrestling on Sunday, 29th September in Portland, Oregon. At that show, they will be facing Pacific Northwest tag-team Midnight Heat (Eddie Pearl and Ricky Gibson).
FTR is coming off a win over The Grizzled Young Veterans on AEW collision last Saturday. Harwood & Wheeler posed with The Outrunners at the end of the episode after Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd rescued them from a post match beating.
