Darby Allin is now eligible to play in a future AEW World Championship.
Allin won the Royal Rampage Battle Royale on Friday’s AEW Rampage taped episode, earning a chance to compete in the AEW World Championship set for Dynamite Grand Slam, scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2009.
Allin eliminated Claudio Castagnoli from the Blackpool Combat Club in the final round to win the Royal Rampage. Allin won the 2023 Royal Rampage to earn a shot at the TNT title at last year’s All Out Pay-per-View. Brody King, who won the first Royal Rampage 2022, earned a shot at Jon Moxley’s Interim AEW World Championship.
All In will likely be the next opponent for the winner.
The other final four members in the Royal Rampage were Brian Cage and Jeff Jarrett. Castagnoli eliminated Cage, while Jarrett was eliminated by an intervening Hangman Page.
