The roster for Team AEW for the Blood & Guts cage match in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday has been completed.
After weeks of chasing the Young Bucks around, former AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed and Trios Champions will get their chance against the Jackson brothers. Darby Allin’s revenge on Jack Perry will be his as part of Team AEW.
All three new additions will make their Blood & Guts debut.
Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, during a backstage segment of Wednesday’s Dynamite show, made their pitch to Ring of Honor World Champions Mark Briscoe about why they should be in the match. Briscoe agreed but said that it wasn’t just up to him. Swerve Strickland, AEW’s World Champion, then entered the fray and after saying he has fought with both men in the past, he agreed that they should join Team AEW.
Allin joined the fray at the end of Wednesday’s episode when a fight broke out between The Elite, (Matt and Nick Jackson, Perry and Hangman Page, Kazuchika Okada, and Strickland and Briscoe Caster and Bowens).
This year, the tradition of July will be originating from Nashville, Tennessee.
