Daniel Garcia will finally have his revenge when he faces former AEW World champion MJF in next month’s All Out From Chicago.
The match was arranged during Wednesday’s Dynamite when MJF was cutting a promo in the ring, denouncing both his allegiance to America as well as threatening to take revenge on Will Ospreay after he defeated him for the International Title at All In.
On that night Garcia returned in a surprise to cost MJF its title by preventing Ospreay, the then-champion, from using brass knuckles against him.
MJF ran down Garcia on Wednesday before Garcia attacked MJF and a fight ensued. Garcia teased him with the same second rope pildriver that MJF used to put him out of commission on the July 3rd Dynamite. Garcia lost the fight to Ospreay that night in part because MJF attacked him afterward.
After officials separated them, Garcia took the microphone to challenge MJF to All Out. MJF agreed from the entrance ramp.
Only once have the two wrestled each other in a match of singles. This was when MJF won the World Championship and defeated the challenger at a November 2023 Dynamite.
