Dana White opens up to UFC fighters appearing in WWE in todays Wrestling news
Dana White is open to UFC fighters moving to WWE.
Derrick Lewis, Saturday’s UFC main event, recently revealed that he has been in contact with WWE regarding a possible pro-wrestling future. White was asked last night at the post-event press event if he was open to UFC fighters working in WWE. White replied that he wasn’t aware of Lewis comments, but has no issue with UFC fighters wanting a chance to live out their dream in WWE.
“I would do everything for Derrick Lewis. I like Derrick Lewis very much. White said, “I don’t mind that some of the fighters here have dreamed of doing a WWE or whatever match. “I didn’t mind that when Vince used to f–k me without reason, and now that it’s not that way anymore, I would do it.”
White was asked if he ever would be a special referee for a WWE event. The UFC president assured that this would never happen.
Tom Lawlor, who was formerly with the UFC, responded to White’s remarks.
Lewis, who won a KO over Rodrigo Nascimento yesterday, was asked Thursday about the possibility of him performing in WWE at a media event.
We are in actual talks right now. We’ve been in talks for a few weeks now. I was supposed go down there in Feburary to check out everything,” he replied.
