WWE let Ventrelle go on Thursday.

Dan Ventrelle, who served as EVP of Talent at WWE for nearly two years before his departure, is no longer employed by the company.

Aaron Varble, a writer for SEScoops, first reported the departure on Thursday. Dave Meltzer confirmed it. Ventrelle has been working for WWE as the EVP of talent since September 2022.

Ventrelle spent nearly 18 years working for the NFL’s Las Vegas/Oakland Raiders before joining WWE. He was the team’s general counsel, before becoming its president. Ventrelle was terminated by the Raiders on May 20, 2022. Ventrelle was the Raiders president from 2010 to 2022. He oversaw the Raiders business operations and negotiated player and coach contracts.

Ventrelle was a WWE fan for a lifetime and “excited” to continue the commitment of delivering exceptional talent to the WWE Universe.

WWE and Ventrelle worked together for the first time when SummerSlam was held at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium (home of the Raiders) in 2021.
