Dakota Kai will make his first return to the WWE SmackDown ring since May 2023 next week.
Damage CTRL will explode on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, with Kai & Bayley facing Asuka & Kaira Sane from The Kabuki Warriors.
Kai has not been in the ring for a while after tearing his ACL during a match that took place on May 12, 2023.
This week, Kai was laid down backstage. She later told Bayley that Asuka and Sane had attacked Bayley. The attack on Kai wasn’t shown, so it is possible that Kai will swerve Bayley during the match and realign himself with Asuka Sane and IYO SKY.
Next week, Carlito and Santos Escobar will also fight in the street as the feud continues between Escobar’s Legado de Fantasma and Carlito’s LWO.
WWE announced earlier on Friday that The Rock would also be appearing on SmackDown next week in Glendale Arizona.
