Cora Jade is back in NXT and she’s determined to become the Women’s Champion.

Jade returned to NXT by ambushing NXT women’s champion Lyra Valkyria on Saturday night. Jade made her first NXT appearance since July.

Blair Davenport, who won the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline to earn a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship against Valkyria. Davenport declared on the microphone that Valkyria is losing her title reign.

Valkyria came out on stage and stared Davenport down. Jade attacked Valkyria behind her as the staredown took place. Jade posed for a picture with the NXT Women’s Championship Belt before throwing it on Valkyria.

In a backstage conversation, Jade said that she was here to bring the NXT Women’s Division to a new level.

A QR code was shown on NXT Tuesday, teasing Jade’s return at Deadline. Her most recent appearance on NXT was a loss against Dana Brooke in the kendo-stick match on July 25. Jade stormed off after her loss, saying she was sick of the place.

Davenport will face Valkyria in the NXT Women’s Championship Match at NXT New Year’s Evil, on Tuesday, January 2nd. This is a special episode on NXT TV.
