Cody Rhodes confirmed for WWE Elimination Chamber in todays Wrestling news
The upcoming schedule of Rhodes includes a visit to Perth.
Cody Rhodes is expected to travel with WWE to Australia when they hold Elimination Chamber.
The WWE Elimination Chamber will be held at Optus Stadium, Perth, Western Australia, on Saturday, 24th February. Rhodes confirmed his appearance at the Chamber of Commerce event while sharing his February schedule today.
WWE’s Elimination Chamber is the last premium live event held before WrestleMania. Rhodes will headline his second consecutive WrestleMania after winning the Royal Rumble back-to-back.
Rhodes said that following his Rumble victory, he will again challenge Roman Reigns to the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship during WrestleMania. WWE hasn’t officially confirmed that yet. Seth Rollins made a case on Raw this past week for Rhodes to face him at WrestleMania. Rhodes told Rollins he respected him and would think about it.
Rollins vs. CM Punk, originally scheduled for WrestleMania won’t happen due to Punk torn triceps.
This Friday, both Rhodes and Reigns will be appearing on SmackDown.
Elimination Chamber has not yet been announced. The show will be broadcast live on Peacock on February 24, starting at 5 am Eastern time/2 am Pacific.
