Cody Rhodes does a good thing for a group upstart pro wrestlers in Uganda.
Uganda’s Soft Ground Wrestling has been one of the most heartwarming stories in pro-wrestling this year. The promotion has gone viral on the internet and attracted the attention of many people within the industry. Former WWE wrestlers Mansoor, Mace and others made the trip to Uganda in April to participate in the promotion. CIMA, a Japanese legend, also visited Soft Ground Wrestling in April.
Will Ospreay, Jordynne grace and others have praised the passion of the Ugandan wrestlers. Rhodes, another star, has taken note of the promotion. On Tuesday, Soft Ground Wrestling posted a video that Rhodes had sent them. The Undisputed WWE champion announced that he will be purchasing a “proper” wrestling ring for the promotion. They have been using a mud ring.
“We found someone in Uganda that can make it for your. It is not going to be brought over by boat. It won’t break. “We’re going get it done,” Rhodes stated. “And when you’re done, send me the bill.” I’m paying for it. My gift to you. The wrestling industry has literally given me all that I could ever dream of in my life. I would like to give back to you all. Welcome to the world of professional wrestling. “I can’t wait for you to show me what you do.”
Rhodes said that it was great to see how much the Soft Ground wrestlers love pro wrestling. Rhodes believes that wrestling can bring people together in a world so divided.
Soft Ground Wrestling is a wrestling group founded in 2023. The group uploads videos to its YouTube channel as well as its X/Twitter account.
This Saturday, Rhodes will defend his WWE Clash at the Castle title in Glasgow, Scotland. He’s going to face AJ Styles in a “I Quit Match”.
