Cody Rhodes and Bayley to appear in WWE SmackDown in todays Wrestling news
The new champions are set to be announced on Friday in Detroit.
Cody Rhodes, Bayley and SmackDown will all be on this Friday.
On Monday, it was announced that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion as well as the WWE Women’s Champion will be appearing on Friday’s show at Detroit, Michigan. Both had successful WrestleManias, where Rhodes beat Roman Reigns while Bayley defeated IYO SKY.
On Monday, Cody made his first WWE TV appearance since defeating Reigns. The Rock told Cody, after he had finished his story with Reigns in WrestleMania but that their story was not over. He then gave Cody a gift that the crowd did not see and told him never to break The Final Boss’ heart again.
Bayley defeated SKY, a member of Damage CTRL, in a match. All members of the group lost at WrestleMania. Kairi Sane (left), Asuka (right), and Dakota Kai (left) all lost to Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi.
