Cody Rhodes added to WWE SmackDown in todays Wrestling news
SmackDown tonight will feature a segment featuring Cody Rhodes.
The Undisputed WWE champion is scheduled to appear tonight from Louisville, Kentucky. WWE claims that after being slapped by AJ Styles, Rhodes will be “looking for payback” on tonight’s show.
Last Friday’s SmackDown featured an angle in which AJ Styles feigned to announce his retirement. It was all a ruse to get a second shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship. Styles gave Rhodes a Styles Clash by jumping off the steel steps, and he was thrown to the floor.
Rhodes retained his title last month against Styles in Backlash. A rematch is expected to take place at Clash at the Castle, on Saturday, 15th June. This may be confirmed tonight.
