The WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31 will feature a SummerSlam rematch, with a stipulation.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will face off in a strap-match at Bash in Berlin, as announced on Monday’s WWE Raw.
Punk announced on Monday’s Raw in a promo that he had petitioned GM Adam Pearce to hold the contest, and that the bout was finalized for Saturday, August 31, Bash in Berlin PLE. McIntyre accepted the challenge during Punk’s promo segment.
McIntyre defeated Punk at SummerSlam in Cleveland earlier this month. Seth Rollins was the special guest referee.
Four matches are official for Bash in Berlin set for Saturday, August 31. The main card will stream at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Peacock/WWE Network. The announced lineup so far:
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defends against Kevin Owens
- WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defends against Randy Orton
- Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan vs. Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley
- Strap match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
