CM Punk to appear on WWE Raw next week in todays Wrestling news

Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nagamura will both face off.

CM Punk is returning to Raw next week.

Punk did not appear on Monday’s Raw. However, it was announced he would be appearing next week in Cleveland, Ohio, both at SmackDown on Friday and Raw the following week. The announcers said that Punk was a free-agent and that both Raw and SmackDown wanted to sign him exclusively to the brand they preferred.

Adam Pearce, Raw’s GM, told Seth Rollins in a segment backstage that Punk would be coming next week and that he was determined to sign Punk for Raw. Rollins told Pearce he didn’t really care and told him to do whatever he needed to.

Shinsuke Nagaura and Cody Rhodes also will compete. Nakamura said on Monday’s Raw that he attacked Rhodes for not finishing his own story. He told Rhodes they both had similar stories as they both won the Royal Rumble but lost at WrestleMania. After the video ended, Rhodes said that they were not alike and that he would not respect Nakamura until they faced off in the ring.
