CM Punk, who did not appear tonight on WWE Raw, will return next week.
Punk was not on tonight’s Raw, as he was still feeling the effects of his last-week beating by Drew McIntyre. WWE announced that Punk would return to the show on Monday. This will be the first appearance since it was confirmed Punk vs. McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match will take place at Bad Blood in 2024.
Adam Pearce announced their Hell in a Cell Match tonight. He told McIntyre the feud between Punk and him must end. McIntyre, upset over losing to Punk at Bash in Berlin in a straps match, attacked Punk on Raw last Sunday in an angle. Punk was then taken away in an ambulance. McIntyre destroyed Punk’s bracelet, which had the names of Punk’s wife and dog on it.
Bad Blood will take place on Saturday, 5th October. Punk and McIntyre are 1-1 against each other going into the PLE.
Next Monday’s Raw will be held at the Moda Center in Portland. The New Day and Finn Balor will also face off for the World Tag Team Title. This will be the first televised defense of the title Balor & McDonagh has made since becoming champions back in June.
