CM Punk was seen backstage at the NXT event on Tuesday.

Punk was in the backstage area of Tuesday’s broadcast. Lola Vice shared a photo of Punk with her.

Fightful Select reported Punk was at the show backstage, where he hung out all day. He also gave feedback to the talent on their matches.

Punk made a short appearance at Saturday’s NXT Deadline, where he exchanged words with Shawn Micheals. He also teased that he might sign with the brand. The segment ended with both taking a selfie.

Punk, who made his return at Survivor Series in the storyline, was a free agent until Monday when he signed Raw’s contract. Seth Rollins appeared after Punk signed and they had a staredown. Rollins told Punk that WWE was not his home because he had left ten years earlier and he has carried the ball ever since. He also told Punk he wanted Punk to be on Raw, so that there was a chance of him facing Punk in a World Heavyweight Title match and beating him.

Punk replied by saying that he has never been given anything. He has always earned it. He said he will be entering the Royal Rumble in a month.
