Perry will make CMLL debut on Friday at Arena Mexico

CJ Perry will be by Andrade El Idolo’s side when he returns to Arena Mexico Friday night.

CMLL released a video on Thursday announcing Perry’s appearance with Andrade at tonight’s Arena Mexico event. Perry will make his CMLL debut. Andrade will be competing in CMLL for the first time since 2015.

Perry announced in a promotional video that “this Friday, I’ll be attending my first Arena Mexico event.” “Debuting in CMLL, with my client returning after eight years.”

Andrade, Soberano Jr. and Angel de Oro will team up against Mistico Jr., Atlantis Jr. and Star Jr. tonight in a threes match.

Andrade, formerly known as La Sombra in his early career, became a star in CMLL before leaving the company in 2015 to sign with WWE. He has been with AEW from 2021.

Andrade was Perry’s first client in AEW. AEW is building up to a feud between Andrade, Perry’s husband Miro and AEW.
