The two rivals will face off again.
Chris Jericho will face Konosuke Takashita for the second time in his career as part of AEW’s Wednesday, 7th February edition from Phoenix, Arizona.
Don Callis hinted at the match in a Friday AEW Rampage promotional video, but it was officially announced during Saturday’s Collision.
Jericho won the last singles match between the two in Japan’s DDT Promotion in November.
On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Jericho will face Kyle Fletcher, another member of the Callis Family, in an attempt to settle his score with Callis.
Takeshita is aiming to win his seventh consecutive AEW singles title dating back to June 20,23.
The match will join the previously announced AEW tag team title match between champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill versus Sting & Daring Allin.
