Bey was injured at TNA’s television tapings in Detroit on Sunday. The exact nature of Bey’s injury is unknown, but he was placed in a neck brace after ABC’s match with The Hardys.
According to Fightful Select’s report, Bey was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he had surgery to treat his injury. He is said to have recovered from surgery, but further details are not available.
Bey has been a TNA member since 2018. He is a former X-Division champion and has won three TNA World Tag Team Championships with his partner Ace Austin. He and Austin wrestled The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers, and Matt & Jeff Hardy at TNA Bound for Glory in a Full Metal Mayhem Match on Saturday. The Hardys took home the TNA tag titles and won the match for the third time.
