Charlotte Flair signed a contract.

Dave Meltzer confirmed on Tuesday a Fightful Select article that Charlotte had agreed to an extension of her contract with WWE. He noted that she had already signed the contract a few months earlier.

Fightful reports that this deal was reached before Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio signed a new contract with the company. It was also one of the first extensions after the TKO merger. The company also stated that it was “a huge money increase” and one of the highest-paid contracts in WWE history.

Flair suffered a torn MCL, ACL and meniscus during a match on the SmackDown edition of December 8, and will need surgery. In the episode of SmackDown that aired last Friday, announcers announced that Flair would be out of commission for nine months.

After taking a break after her loss at WrestleMania in May, Flair returned to the ring in June. She has spent much of this time feuding against members of Damage CTRL. She won the Survivor Series WarGames in last month’s event, teaming up with Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair to defeat Bayley, IYO SKY Asuka and Kaira Sane.
