Bryan Danielson, a full-time professional wrestler, wants to compete in London’s Wembley Stadium before he ends his career.

On Sunday, August 25, AEW will return to Wembley as All In 2024. This is the second year in a row that AEW has operated the stadium. Danielson wasn’t able to wrestle at AEW’s Wembley debut in the summer of last year because he was out-of-action.

Danielson revealed to Casual Conversations With The Classic that his AEW deal expires in fact before All In 2024. He still wants to wrestle on the show before he ends his full-time career.

When asked what milestones remained on his checklist, he replied:

Wembley is the big one. I want to get to Wembley. My contract expires before Wembley. But I still want to make it there. As a wrestling fan, I thought last year’s All In event was amazing. As a wrestling fan that was a defining moment when the British Bulldog defeated Bret Hart. You think of Wembley in almost mythical terms.

Wembley Stadium is only known to have hosted two wrestling events: WWF SummerSlam in 1992 and AEW All In 2020.

Danielson said that he would like to wrestle his last match at AEW’s WrestleDream Pay-per-View this October. However, he is not sure if he will make it that far.

But I would love to go to Wembley to experience it. That’s definitely a big one.

I don’t know if I will make it. But I think my last match at WrestleDream in the Tacoma Dome would be a nice ending to my career as a full time wrestler.

Danielson is a native of Washington, and his first wrestling experience was at the Tacoma Dome. It was a WWF show headlined by Ultimate Warrior and Rick Rude.

WrestleDream will be held on Saturday, 10 October.

Danielson wants to wrestle five to ten matches per year once he becomes a full-time wrestler.
