Bryan Danielson vs. Yuji Nakata set for AEW Collision in todays Wrestling news
Orange Cassidy will defend the International title.
Bryan Danielson will be challenged by another NJPW star.
Yuji Nagata is set to face Danielson on Saturday’s Collision. Danielson lost earlier this month to Kazuchika OKada in Wrestle Kingdom 18’s co-main event. He will be returning to Japan in the next month for a rematch with Zack Sabre Jr. who he beat at AEW’s WrestleDream in October.
The International title is also on the line. Orange Cassidy is defending against the winner of “Freshly Squeezed Four-Way” that will be held on Friday’s Rampage, between Komander and Hijo del Vignolo. Kip Sabian and The Butcher will also be fighting.
Serena Deeb is back in action for the first time since her 2022 debut. Deeb’s return video was aired by AEW Worlds end after she had been away for most of 2023 because of multiple seizures. Deeb said that the professor’s return is imminent in a second vignette which aired Wednesday.
Mariah May will face Lady Frost. May made her in-ring début earlier this month, but Deonna Purrazzo was able to overshadow the match afterward by looking for Toni Storm.
Here is the updated lineup for Saturday’s show:
- Steel cage elimination match: FTR & Daniel Garcia vs. The House of Black
- AEW International title: Orange Cassidy defends against either Komander, Hijo del Vikingo, Kip Sabian, or The Butcher
- Bryan Danielson vs. Yuji Nagata
- Serena Deeb returns to in-ring action
- Mariah May vs. Lady Frost
