Bryan Danielson shows his admiration for Jon Moxley, saying: “There is no other like him” in todays Wrestling news
Bryan Danielson has a great deal of respect for his Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Jon Moxley.
In an interview published on Friday by Sports Illustrated, Danielson stated that he is proud of Moxley but his feelings for him are more like admiration. Danielson believes that there is no other pro wrestler like Moxley.
Danielson said, “To me he is one of the best in the entire world.” “I am super proud of Mox. “I feel less pride and more admiration.”
Moxley is not only one of AEW’s top stars but also holds the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in NJPW. He will be defending his title against EVIL this Sunday at NJPW Dominion. It’s a lumberjack battle with Shota Umino and Yuji Nagata as Moxley’s allies against House of Torture.
Danielson told Sports Illustrated he hopes Moxley enjoys a long reign with the IWGP championship. If Moxley wins the match against EVIL he will be crowned champion at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, later this month. Moxley’s wrestling for both promotions brought AEW and NJPW closer together, resulting in the strong working relationship between the two companies.
Danielson told Sports Illustrated, “Mox created this. He did this.” “He has a mentality unlike anyone else. There will never be a second Jon Moxley. There is no one else like him.
“I admire what he has been able to achieve.” I admire the risks that he has taken and the performances that he puts forth every time he goes on stage.
