Brock Lesnar is removed from WWE SuperCards game in todays Wrestling news
Lesnar content has been removed from the 2K mobile game.
The WWE SuperCards game, published by 2K Games, has removed Brock Lesnar’s content.
PWInsider reported first that Lesnar’s content was removed from the digital collectibles game published by 2K, and available on mobile platforms. They added in their report that the news had been confirmed.
Insider’s Report also cites sources that state Lesnar will be “downplayed” as much as possible by 2K, and possibly other licensees. The release date for 2K’s WWE 2K24 is set to be March 8.
The news follows Lesnar’s involvement in a lawsuit that was filed last week against WWE Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.
Janel Grant filed a lawsuit alleging that McMahon sexually abused, degraded and trafficked her. She also alleges that Lesnar was offered Grant’s sexual service as a bargaining tool in contract negotiations. Grant claims that McMahon provided Lesnar with her personal cellphone number, and that Lesnar requested that she send him sexually explicit material.
Lesnar, according to reports, was scheduled to return to WWE programming shortly before the lawsuit was filed.
According to reports, Lesnar had been a planned participant in the Royal Rumble match last Saturday. However, he was removed and Bron Breakker took his place.
Lesnar is yet to make a public announcement since being implicated in this lawsuit.
