Britt Baker will be returning soon.
A short video on Collision revealed Baker’s return: October 2, the five-year anniversary of AEW Dynamics. Tony Schiavone confirmed later that Baker would wrestle on the show. Serena Deeb, at the end of Collision called out Baker and said she would wait for her response.
Baker’s last appearance was at All In in August, when he failed to defeat Mercedes Mone and win the TBS Championship. Tony Khan was questioned about Baker’s situation two weeks after All Out. Khan told people to keep an eye on the news to find out what Baker’s plans are.
Baker, who had been absent for the majority of 2024, resurfaced earlier this summer at Forbidden Door, challenging Mone. AEW briefly suspended Baker and fined him for an argument he had with MJF prior to their match.
Mone, after her victory, successfully defended the TBS Championship in All Out, defeating Hikaru Schida. She has not appeared on television since the match.
