Trent Acid, Jay & Mark Briscoe and Trent Wrestling are all inducted into the 2024 Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class.
The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame is about to induct one of the greatest tag team of all time.
Game Changer Wrestling announced that The Briscoes, Jay and Mark Briscoe, will be inducted into Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame during WrestleMania Weekend this April. Mark Briscoe, who will be attending the ceremony to accept this honor on behalf of his late brother and himself, will be in attendance.
Jay & Mark began their careers in Delaware as teenagers. They would go on to become the most decorated tag team ever, with 13 reigns as the ROH Tag Teams. The Briscoes became the first act to be inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame. This was in 2022.
In January 2023, Jay Briscoe (Jamin pugh) died in a car crash. He was 38. The Briscoe family paid tribute to Jay last month on AEW Dynamite, one year after his death.
Mark Briscoe, also known as Mark Pugh, is signed to AEW. He competes in both AEW & ROH.
The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame, created by GCW and Orange Crush Magazine, was first established in the year 2022. The ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Philadelphia, on Sunday, 7 April. The ceremony will be streamed live on YouTube starting at noon Eastern Standard Time.
Trent Acid (Michael Verdi), who died in 2005, has also been confirmed as a member of this year’s Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame. Johnny Kashmere, a former Backseat Boyz partner, is inducting Acid.
