AEW wrestler Brian Cage has a torn latissimus.
Cage revealed in an Instagram post he wrestled last night with a torn latissimus on AEW Dynamite. Cage, Bishop Kaun Toa Liona and Lance Archer lost an eight-man match to Preston Vance Adam Copeland Orange Cassidy Dusty Rhodes on the show. The match was held in memory of Brodie Lee, who died.
Cage tore his latissimus during a four-way fight on the Dynamite episode of January 3. Trent Beretta gave Cage the German suplex on the second rope.
“Welllllllll, I might or might not have gotten an ‘boo-boo’ on Dynamite last Wednesday night,” Cage wrote this week. “But I’m no man, I am a machine!” The show must go on.”
Beretta, who won the four-way match last week, will now face Eddie Kingston in a Continental Crown contest on AEW collision. Kingston retained his Continental Crown after defeating Beretta.
The Mogul Embassy (Cage Kaun & Leona) are currently the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion. This Saturday, they’ll be defending their title against Archer & The Righteous at Collision.
