Braun Strowman still feels Bray Wyatt’s presence, even though he has died.
Strowman spoke to Chris Van Vliet in an episode of Insight published on Thursday. Strowman talked about the “very deep” connection he had with Wyatt. Strowman still feels as if he can see Wyatt, and is reminded about him every day.
I see him every day. It’s crazy – it really is. I don’t really know how spiritual people are or what they believe, but I felt a deep connection with him. I mean, there are things that remind of him. Every day, there is something. I can feel him. He’s still here.
Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), died in August 2023 from a heart problem. He was 36.
Wyatt is a three-time World Champion, and one of WWE’s most recognizable characters. Strowman told Van Vliet being a part of the Wyatt Family, with Wyatt and Luke Harper, as well as Erick Rowan, changed his life.
It changed my life. I was a fat kid who was bullied and told he would never make it. Three incredible, talented human beings took me under their wings and showed me the way through this crazy business. Words can’t describe how grateful I am, because without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Strowman told Wyatt that he knew he had to have him in the Wyatt Family the moment he saw him. Wyatt did everything to get Strowman into the faction.
Last month, Peacock aired the documentary “Bray Wyatt – Becoming Immortal”. It began by teasing Bo Dallas’ return as Uncle Howdy. Rowan could also be returning to WWE.
Van Vliet interviewed Strowman during WrestleMania. Strowman’s neck fusion surgery, which he had last June, has been cleared for him to return.
Strowman returned to Raw on Monday, participating in an angle that featured NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes. Strowman saved Jeyuso from Finn Balor and Logan Paul after they attempted to use Mahomes Super Bowl rings as weapons.
The 2024 WWE Draft was concluded in Monday’s Raw. Strowman has been drafted to the Raw roster.
