Brandi Rhodes has begun her road to recovery.
She posted on Tuesday that she was recovering after surgery, after being diagnosed with stage four of endometriosis. She wrote that Maryse Mizanin, who recently battled to get a diagnosis of what turned out to be pre-cancerous tumours in her body requiring a total hysterectomy, inspired her.
Brandi wrote:
Three years of pain and no answers. The story of @MaryseMizanin inspired me to keep going. We found the answer after many appointments. Stage 4 endometriosis. Today’s successful surgery Listen to your body, ladies. We don’t need to live in pain. Advocacy is important. We need to talk about women’s healthcare more. Love you @CodyRhodes. Your love is so beautiful.
Cody Rhodes replied on X by writing “I’ve just written my book.” It only has two lines: “I love Brandi – The End.”
Brandi Rhodes, along with her husband, left AEW 2022. She appeared at WrestleMania forty last month, accompanying Cody into the ring and then celebrating with him after he won the Undisputed WWE Championship.
