Booker T’s WWE NXT return is ‘about a week away’ in todays Wrestling news
Booker T was away from the commentary desk following a medical procedure.
Booker T will be able to return to WWE NXT commentary in about a week.
Booker T announced earlier this month that he would be out of NXT for two weeks due to a medical procedure. Booker T missed NXT Vengeance Day, as well as the last two weeks of NXT TV.
Booker T gave an update on his Hall of Fame Podcast, saying he is feeling good and has returned to the gym. Booker T said that he will be back to commentating on NXT in about a week. The episode of NXT for February 27 is one week away.
“I’m coming back. Booker T said, “I’m coming back in about a week.” “I’m a little over a week away.” I went to the doctor this week to make sure that everything was okay. “Everything is healing really well.”
Booker T doesn’t want to reveal the medical procedure that he underwent, saying he does not like to advertise his business.
Booker T and Vic Joseph make up the regular commentary team of NXT. Wade Barrett stepped in for Booker T on Vengeance Day. Since then, Byron Saxton fills in for Booker T at NXT TV.
The NXT episode for tonight was recorded in advance because key NXT personnel were in Australia to take part in WWE tryouts. The tryouts take place ahead of the Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia this Saturday.
