Bobby Lashley believes Omos should be used on WWE television but does not know if Omos is going to get this opportunity.
Omos, who stands at 7’3″, has only appeared in two televised events in 2024. He competed in the Royal Rumble as well as the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He has been largely off TV over the past year, while still competing in house shows for WWE. However, he hasn’t wrestled since April 5th episode of SmackDown.
Lashley was interviewed about Omos’s future and whether he thought Omos would return to WWE TV.
“I think [he should be back on TV]” Unfortunately, I do not know. I don’t. Lashley said, “Given the way things have changed I don’t think he will get that chance.” “I hope my saying that will give him that chance.” But many people haven’t been given that chance, and some people have gone their separate ways. So I don’t really know what is happening right now. There’s a lot really good talent who left.”
Lashley left WWE after his contract expired in August. He is rumored be heading to AEW, where he will join MVP and Shelton Benjamin from his Hurt Business stable.
MVP managed Omos for WWE and has been an outspoken supporter of him. Last month, MVP said at K&S WrestleFest Paul “Triple H Levesque” told him that he did not want Omos on TV every week but wanted him to be a periodic attraction.
Lashley and Omos were WrestleMania rivals in 2022, and worked on a program together.
Omos (real name Jordan Omogbehin), launched a YouTube Channel called “The Giant Connoisseur”, where he reviews perfumes.
