Bobby Lashley says it's time to 'put pen to paper' about the next destination in todays Wrestling news

Bobby Lashley must now write down his next destination.

Lashley, amid rumors that he was headed to AEW, took part in a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing on Tuesday. Lashley teased his fans at the end of the signing session and gave a message.

“I just wanted to say that I appreciate you guys for sticking behind me. I know that the last few years were a bit up and down. “I have a lot of gas left and I’m eager to get back on the road,” he said. “I had a small boo-boo and I took some time off to fix it. I feel good right now. I’ve been working hard. In the next few weeks you should see some sort of action. It’s time to start writing to these fans.”

Lashley is expected to join the Hurt Syndicate, which now includes former Hurt Business members MVP (formerly Shelton Benjamin) and Shelton Benjamin. Lashley said at K&S WrestleFest he believes The Hurt Business was overlooked by WWE near the end. He felt it was “kinda a spit on the face.”

“It was a bit of a spit to the face at the end. We never performed in front of an audience. During the pandemic a lot of men sat at home and said, “I don’t wanna do it.” I’m going to do nothing, I’m going to stay home. It was us who said, “It’s work so we’re going.” And we did it all. Lashley said, “We were on the show half the time most of the times and we did everything that many people wouldn’t.”

“And then, we got out of the pandemic. Then all of these people began to resurface. “Oh, I’m prepared to work.” I’m ready for work. But what about those guys who put in the time during this dangerous time? We were kind of overlooked. I thought that was a bit of a slap in the face. I think we should have returned and done some great things together. They just didn’t like us. I think that different people have different tastes. “I think that when the regime changed the regime wasn’t very high on me and they were definitely not high on them, because they were the people they got rid off.”

Lashley is a 48-year-old former World Champion of both WWE and TNA Wrestling.
Lashley left WWE after his contract with the company expired in August. He said that as a free-agent, he has received offers for pro wrestler, boxing and MMA.
