Being the Elite is no more.

“We’ll write about it more this week, but BTE hasn’t been put on hiatus. It’s actually finished.” Meltzer wrote that there are currently no plans to bring BTE back.

The BTE YouTube channel has been uploading videos of Brandon Cutler, Colt Cabana, and The Young Bucks in recent weeks. However, no episodes featuring Adam Page, Kenny Omega, or The Young Bucks have been posted for a month.

Cutler posted on social media that “Sources close Matt and Nick have told me that they are officially finished with Being The Elite.”

The first episode of BTE appeared in May 2016. The show played a major role in the popularity of The Elite before AEW and helped to build storylines that were taking place in ROH at the time. The first official announcement about AEW was made in the January 1, 2019 episode of the show.
