Bayley is happy with the state of WWE’s Women’s Division.
Bayley, who competed in house shows over the weekend in Mexico, posted a message on Monday thanking fans for attending the events and reflecting on her experience. She also took the time to express her pride in her female colleagues.
“Thank you Mexico!” I’ll never forget the shows we had last weekend! I’m exhausted, sore, and my azz is beat. But, I am still a champ! Bayley wrote, “But I gotta admit, I’m so darn proud of our women’s division.” “I’ve not seen everyone on point at the exact same time. “We are all thriving and pushing each other!”
Bayley won the WWE Women’s Championship in Mexico City against Bianca Belair on Saturday. On Sunday, she took part in a six woman tag match in Monterrey. Bayley, Belair & Jade Cargill defeated Liv Morgan, Shayna Basszler & Tiffany Stratton.
The house shows featured wrestlers on both the SmackDown roster and Raw roster. Bayley is currently the Women’s champion on SmackDown, while Morgan is the champ on Raw.
Stephanie Vaquer, a new WWE signee, also made her debut for the company in Mexico this weekend. She defeated Isla Dawn on both nights. Vaquer’s WWE career will begin in NXT.
Bayley will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax at SummerSlam, on Saturday, August 3. Stratton is also being positioned as a threat against Bayley’s title reign. She holds the Money in the Bank Briefcase.
Bayley recently stated that she believes it is the right moment for WWE to hold a second all-women’s Evolution event.
