Bayley chooses WrestleMania opponent on WWE SmackDown in todays Wrestling news
Bayley won Saturday’s women’s Royal Rumble.
Bayley will choose her favorite Friday.
During WWE Raw she was cornered when Nia Jax attacked Rhea Ripley, Women’s World Champion. Bayley told Jax she would decide who she will face at WrestleMania during Friday’s SmackDown.
Bayley was with Damage CTRL in the ring when Ripley appeared. Jax attacked her before she could say anything. He threw Ripley in the ring, and gave her the banzai-drop, now called the annihilator. Jax told Bayley that Ripley would not be making it to WrestleMania, and she could choose IYO SKY (or anyone else) or any other wrestler.
Bayley, who defeated Liv Morgan in Saturday’s Royal Rumble match to win it, has shown interest in taking on Ripley. Bayley has teased dissension between her and the other Damage CTRL members since Asuka Sane and Kairi Morgan joined the group.
